This is our third Knit for Peace visit to Gladstone’s Library, a venue much enjoyed by our knitters. It has the atmosphere of a victorian Gothic college, like being in an Anthony Trollope novel. It’s set in pretty grounds and the local village offers an interesting pub and large health foods shop and café. For the adventurous, nearby trips to Chester or Colwyn Bay may appeal. For others, the dark winter afternoons make the library and its common room a cosy alternative.

Dates: Arrive 13th December – Depart 17th December 2021 (4 nights)

Course tutor: Jane Crowfoot, surely the world’s most patient teacher? Jane will teach both crochet and knitting, introducing a range of techniques to try, and show how to give your work a professional finish.

Cost includes:

• 4 nights accommodation (all rooms en suite). There is a single room supplement of £20 per night.
