Knitting Belt traditional Shetland Style or Makin' Belt

£37.00

A knitting belt is used to hold the end of a double pointed needle whilst knitting. The belt will anchor the needle in the belt for speed of working the stitch and to ease tension in the wrist.

The holes are a standard size which fit a 4mm needle securely and, due to the nature of the stuffing, the belt can also be used with smaller needles.

It is recommended that you use metal needles with the belt as the extra tension exerted through the needle can break bamboo and plastic needles.

There are a number of postings of YouTube with tutorials or take a look at the Principles of Knitting website for a guide.

The belt is olive green leather with a black adjustable belt.

We will post your parcel out for free in the UK but we have to charge for International posting, please contact us for the cost of the posting.
